RWOT-OYERA ELIJAH

Elijah is an energetic 8-year-old who enjoys learning and spending time with his friends. He loves playing football (soccer), where he can run and laugh with his classmates. He also enjoys drawing and expressing his creativity through pictures.
His favorite foods include rice, posho (a maize-based staple), malaquan (groundnut paste cooked with greens), ovuga (cooked greens), and boo—local dishes commonly enjoyed in Northern Uganda.
Elijah’s mother works at the school as a bursar, where she manages school fees and financial records to help the school operate smoothly. She has been raising Elijah, his 13-year-old sister, and his 6-year-old sister on her own since his father passed away in 2019. Although she works hard, providing for three children on a single income can be challenging.
