HAM MINISTRY DISCIPLESHIP CENTER
Welcome to the Discipleship Center, established in December 2019 in Gangdyang village, Kitgum Municipality. Each week, we warmly welcome 30 to 50 Christian youths and adults for biblical counseling, fellowship, study, worship, and prayer. Our monthly training sessions empower over 50 from various churches in inductive Bible study, equipping them to lead smaller group studies in their communities and fostering a sense of hope and encouragement. Participants receive Bibles and essential study materials to support their journey in faith and fellowship.
At the Center, we are dedicated to discipling believers whose hearts have been enlightened with the gospel and who have chosen to journey with Jesus. We are doing this through weekly bible studies, home fellowship, Sunday worship services, and end-of-month Saturday evening worship. Those who consistently attend weekly programs are given Bibles and other Christian books to help with their spiritual growth, inspiring them to deepen their faith and relationship with God.
What We Do At The Discipleship Center
Bible Study Program
We are excited to invite you to join us at the Center for our enriching Bible studies, which occur every Friday evening from 4 to 6 PM. In these sessions, we gather to thoughtfully explore God's Word, offering support and guidance to one another as we embark on the journey to grasp the saving power of Christ entirely. We aim to empower each participant to shine brightly as a light in the world. Additionally, we sometimes use inductive Bible study methods to enrich our insights further and deepen our understanding of Scripture. We look forward to welcoming you as we grow in faith together!
Gospel Outreach
We actively reach out to the community, sharing the gospel of hope and reconciliation with God through Christ's death on the cross. Our outreach efforts, which include providing physical blessings to the helpless, the sick, orphans, widows, and individuals struggling spiritually and mentally, are a testament to our unwavering commitment to making a meaningful difference in their lives. We spread God's love and support with confidence, knowing that our actions are making a difference.
Discipleship Class
We are wholeheartedly dedicated to guiding and nurturing believers through engaging short-term discipleship classes. These are thoughtfully designed to cater to specific age groups. For youth, we offer discipleship classes and special youth conventions. Each month, we are proud to welcome between 30 and 50 enthusiastic youths to a supportive and vibrant community that is focused on spiritual growth and meaningful connections. We also invite men and and women from the community to attend discipleship classes so that they may grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Sunday Worship Service
We warmly invite you to participate in our Sunday morning worship service, which takes place from 7 AM to 9 AM. Whether you prefer to join us in person or through our online platform, we welcome you to worship alongside us. Our service typically includes worship, Bible teaching, and fellowship. As highlighted in Hebrews 10:25, we are reminded of the importance of not giving up on meeting together, but encouraging and uplifting one another as we eagerly anticipate the approaching Day.
